General:

Masks are mandatory for all attendees, actors, vendors and staff. Full face Halloween masks are not considered proper PPE under The City of Calgary bylaw.
- Hand sanitizer/cleaning solution with a minimum of 60% alcohol to be used onsite.
- All Haunted houses will be located outside.
- To further reduce the risk of transmission, we have removed the following attractions:
- Main Stage & Live Entertainment
- Seminar Theatre
- Theater Screening Room
- Extreme Zombie House
2m Physical Distancing Measures:
- Limited capacity to allow for physical distancing.
- Wider walkways & directional signage.
- Floor markings in all lineups.
- Signage & verbal announcements to support physical distancing.
- Team lead providing onsite direction and enforcement.
Admission & Entry:
- Designated entrance and designated exit.
- Directing traffic flow with signage and floor markings.
- Touchless box office payment options.
- Signage instructing those who may have been exposed to COVID-19 or showing symptoms of COVID-19 not to enter.
- Hand sanitization stations at entrance and exit.
- Assigned team lead to ensure protocols are met.
Staff:
- Mandatory pre-training for all employees, temporary staff and actors to ensure they understand and feel confident managing COVID-19 protocols.
- Masks mandatory for our team, temporary staff and actors.
- Daily check-in and pre-screening before each shift.
Cleaning and Sanitization:
- Hand sanitization stations located at the entrance, exit and throughout the show and attractions.
- Signage and verbal announcements supporting hand hygiene practices.
- Increased cleaning and disinfection of high-touch surfaces and areas.
- Designated kiosk for attendees to report sanitation and distancing concerns.

Outside Haunted House Attractions (Haunts):
- All Haunt actors and staff will be masked.
- All attendees must wear a face mask. Full face Halloween masks are not permitted and are not considered proper PPE under The City of Calgary bylaw.
- Hand sanitation stations at the entrance & exit of each Haunt.
- Cued lineups that allow for 2m physical distancing.
- One designated entry and exit point for each haunt.
- Limited attendees in each Haunt at one time.
- Signage/Greeter to remind attendees that props and surfaces are non-contact surfaces.
- Increased cleaning and disinfection of high touch surfaces. Staff logbook to be used for efficient cleaning and hourly tracking.
- Team lead assigned to each Haunt to ensure safety protocols are being followed.
Halloween Carnival Games & Axe Throwing:
- All games staff will be outfitted with masks and sanitization procedures.
- All attendees must wear a face mask. Full face Halloween masks are not permitted and are not considered proper PPE under The City of Calgary bylaw.
- All props and surfaces will be disinfected between players.
- Hand sanitation station at each game.
- All games are run on a pre-purchased token system to eliminate game transactions.
- Team lead assigned to ensure safety protocols are being followed.
Nightmare Market:
- Masks are mandatory for all vendors.
- Booths arranged to ensure that vendors and attendees can maintain physical distancing.
- Wider aisles and directional signage in Market area.
- We will communicate with our vendors on COVID-19 protocols for trade show exhibits.
Guest Responsibility, help prevent the spread:
- Masks are mandatory. Full face Halloween masks are not permitted and are not considered proper PPE under The City of Calgary bylaw.
- It is recommended to download the COVID Alert app. By using this app, health officials are better equipped to quickly identify and tackle the spread of COVID-19.
- Follow directional signage at the event.
- Wash your hands, use hand sanitizing stations often and avoid touching your face.
- Do not attend if you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19, including cough, fever, shortness of breath, runny nose and sore throat. Quarantine is required if you have travelled
internationally or come in close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 in the past 14 days.
- There is a risk of exposure to COVID-19 in any public place where people are present. Guests with pre-existing medical conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular disease,
chronic kidney disease and immune deficiencies are especially vulnerable and should consider postponing their visit.
